Profile
I am a project manager and electrical site manager, a graduate engineer (FH) in electrical power engineering who also completed a skilled-trade qualification. By my own count, my career spans 25 years of planning, consulting and site supervision of electrical installations within major projects.
Most of that work was abroad, frequently in countries with difficult living and working conditions: the CIS states, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and China. On those projects I set up new organisational structures, clarified execution details directly with the client and supervised schedules and work sequences — several times with overall project responsibility for both technical and commercial matters.
